May Day Show-n-Shine BBQ
At Lakeview Park in Nampa (see map below)
11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Free food provided for all paid BPA members
Non-members are welcome to eat for $5.00 per person
You may join the Bus Pilots Association for yearly dues of $30.
Bring out your spring projects. Air-cooled and water-cooled VWs are welcome. Parking on the grass, use provided cardboard "diapers" to keep engine leaks off the grass. Respect the park's grass: burnouts and/or damage to the turf will not be tolerated.
Post your questions or comments in this thread. Tell all your VW friends to come out and enjoy a day in the park.

Start with that radio trimplate install! 
I was in the wrong bar once and muttered BPA- next thing I know I'm cooking omelettes, in my boxers, smoking a Kool Menthol...

If you want to, wash away. Totally up to you. It is a show n shine (but my car never shines and I won't have time to wash it, so it's rollin' dirty!) If you'd like to bring a side dish to share, that would be great too. |

Joe- that vanagon is a rare bird 'round here. Check Wedgefanatic's thread- A converted domestic UK model panel with California Westy parts. Westy did not produce (convert) RHD vanagons- so if you want one- you've got to get creative. Dripped with UK-only bits. Even the wipers were unsure where to park!

That photographer is all over the place, he was at my senior showcase too... From what I remember he said the magazine should be launching in November.
